The Guide written by the 1st person to wash his hp to 30k in Maplesea.
1) What is it?
2) What class to take

[i][b]1) What is hp washing?

This concept was first developed by Tiger from Maplegobal (Slaute all guys) and further tested out and improved by many guys including Tanyia from maplesea (bootes)(Sorry i can't named one by one there is too much of you guys down there) and me. Hp washing refers to adding it Ap into hp. And then buy ap reset from cash shop. -mp and add the ap into the stats which you want. For eg if you are warrior you will - mp and add it to str.

1.1) Who should do it?

The class that benefit most from hp washing is warrior. It is because warrior have the skill max hp increse. Therefore when an ap is added to hp, warrior gained the most. Other class may include archers and thief class. The gain is still ok. But an absolute no for mage to do hp washing

1.2) How much is the increase in Hp and the Mp lost?

Warriors +50~55Hp -4Mp
Thief +16~20 Hp -12Mp
Bowman +16~20 Hp -12Mp
Mage +10~20Hp - 90mp

1.3) Pros and Cons of hp washing
Pros Smile
For warriors, Angeo has always been a no-no. It has always been a place for range attackers. Few can survived her slap at that time. After dying many times at her hands, i behind to search for the solution. And i stumble upon Tanyia's post. And finally my lvl 16x crusader was able to fight anego without instant kill from her slap. And after discovering that wearing int gear can have a much higher mp, which much lead to a higher hp, i started my 2nd character which how has reached the max hp 30k. Having a longer hp also help you to save more pot and more confidence in dealing with boss. For eg black crow deals 8k damage. For normal warriors, they are prone to die if the priest can't heal them in time. For me i always pot before the priest can heal me ( put your life in your hands is much safer than putting your life in other people's hands )
After hp washing, i can take black crow 3 hit before i die. Which means i got more chance than other people. If the priest don't heal by the third hit, i can jolly well pot myself. Having more hp for thief and bowman class also give them more advantage. Their hp is low and need more to survive a hit from monster.
As most of us will be using % pots like ramen. A ramen used is much more worthwhile than ever
Cons Sad
First of all is $$$ issue. Each ap reset cost 6k a cash or 5 ap reset for 22500. For normal reseting, a lvl 15x can reset up up to 50-60 ap which is $250-$300.
For my improve version (wearing int before lvl up), At lvl 140, i have reseted 170+ points of ap. Which is equal to $800 sgd( and it is still running as i can still reset)
For normal resetting, your mp will be much lower as you are taking out mp for adding stats. For my improved version, the mp don't dipped as much.

1.4) Is there other ways to wash hp?
Apparently there is no other working method. I have tried double resetting, reset mp into str , reset mp into hp but all won't work.

1.5) What is improve version? Int gear? How does it help?
Wearing int before you level up will increase the amount of mp you gained when you level out. The higher the int gear the more int added
Crusader 9~11mp all are base on 50 int
Knight 11~17mp
Dk 10~15mp

1.6) How much int you need to have the effect?
My current int gear adds 50 int. And i can see the effect. There are theories that having more int will increase. I guess that +40~50int can have the effect already. There are theories that having a higher int will gain more . It has been proven correct. More int does gained more mp. It is roughly about 10int gain 1 mp more. Thanks for suxfrano for pointing out

1.7) How much hp washing you can do?
It varies from job to job. But the minimum mp theory is the thing that controls it all. Under normal circumstances, a lvl 15x knight can reset only 50-60 ap. But if you used improve version of ap resetting, my lvl 14x crusader have resetted 170+ times. And according to my prediction, i can reset 90 times more. However if you use int gear, it depends on your int gear. The more godly the more mp you gain, thus being able to reset more.

1.Cool What is the maximum hp that one can have.
30k. My hp will pass 30k if i get hyperbody. But it only capped at 30k hp.

1.9) When i can do hp washing? Can i add ap into hp first, then months reset it out?
Anytime after you got improving max hp.
Yes you can. You can first add ap into hp first if you feel your hp is not enough. Then later reset it out. But pls be mindful of the min mp limit
Yes

2) What class to take?

Well each class has it own advantage. I have chosen crusader. But that doesn't mean that it is the best.

Dk: You can hyperbody yourself. Which means you can have high hp anytime any place and don't need to depend on others. Having a 30k hp at all times is a godly news. Further more it compliment Dk 4th job berserk well. 40% of 30k is still 12k. Still very good enough to tank most creep attack. However, the competition of dk is quite strong. And chossing dk means every little bit of exp you have to hit yourself. Unlike the crusader and knight and crusader they got powerguard.
Crusader and knight: You can level up the fastest with powerguard. In fact i got to lvl 135 in only one month. And still got to factor in that i got time for zakum ;p Just image knocking grim/mong at lvl 31. Your exp will be 2k~3k+. That is a godly exp for a lvl 31. And by training like that, you virtually don't need any other attacking gear at all. All you need is your int gear and your good friend priest to help you.

3) First Job advancement

[i][b]3) First job: Warrior

First roll to the stats you prefer. Mostly prefered is luk and int both 4.
When you start making a washing Warrior, make sure your AP is rolled at x/y/4/4, whereby:

X is as high STR as possible, say from 11-13
y is as low DEX as possible, say from 4-6.

Other than that, your INT and LUK has to be 4. To be explained later.

Why is it always best for my stats to be 13/4/4/4?
Ans: When your STR reached 35, here's the time to accumulate the rest of your AP to be added into your HP after lvl 15 and after you have maxed improving max HP increase. By having 13/4/4/4, you save maximum number of AP for that, therefore by pumping all AP into HP you are assured to have much higher HP and other HP Warriors.

Can I have something like 10/7/4/4? Why not?
Ans: You accumulate less AP to be pumped into HP by the time you reached lvl 15. This is because you need 25 AP to make your STR 35, while you just need 22 AP to make our STR 35 when your AP stats are 13/4/4/4. Which one saves you more AP? The latter.

I heard from many friends that your LUK has to be as low as possible, best to be 4. But why?
Ans: 4 - the smallest amount of AP in any of your stats
Lower avoidability -> fewer misses -> Quicker killing using power guard all the way
*NB: Even so, you won't get hit by mobs all the time (i.e. occasional misses even with lowest avoidability). it's just like a hermit who cannot completely dodge a snail's touch damage (1 out of 16-20 hits for my lvl 58 sin)

Here's my AP distribution for a 13/4/4/4 HP Warrior:

Lvl 2: 5 AP into STR (18/4/4/4)
Lvl 3: 5 AP into STR (23/4/4/4)
Lvl 4: 5 AP into STR (28/4/4/4)
Lvl 5: 5 AP into STR (33/4/4/4)
Lvl 6: 2 AP into STR (35/4/4/4), time to start saving your AP!
Lvl 7-10: Save AP! By lvl 10, you should have 23 AP now!
1st job
Lvl 11-14 Save AP again! By lvl 14, you should have 43 AP now!
Lvl 15: 48 AP saved. After you max your improving Max HP increase, time to spam your AP into your HP! Watch your HP rise like water!
Lvl 16 onwards: Add all AP into HP. For life. And you can start reset it out for str.

For a maxed Improving Max HP Increase, each time you add AP into your HP, your HP increment ranges from 50-54, and each time you level up, your HP increment ranges from 64-68 (need confirmation).

SP Allocation for 1st job (very important!)
Lvl 10: 1 SP to Improving HP Recovery
Lvl 11: 3 SP to Improving HP Recovery
Lvl 12: 1 SP to Improving HP Recovery, 2 SP to Improving max HP Increase
Lvl 13: 3 SP to Improving max HP Increase
Lvl 14: 3 SP to Improving max HP Increase
Lvl 15: 2 SP to Improving max HP Increase, 1 Sp into Powerstrike
LVl 16~23: 20 SP into Slash Blast, 1 SP into Powerstrike
lvl 17~30: 19 SP to Powerstrike, rest of the point you can add where you want

At lvl 1, get out of maple island as soon as possible . i managed to got myself out of maple island at lvl one so that i can get more int gear up asap. It is up to you to figure up how to get out of maple island at lvl 1 i can't spoon fees you everything. Use your imagination.
Place to train :
lvl 1-10 : snails Henesys hunting ground
lvl 10-22: Buy exchange quest item. Travel to orbis and so exchange quest

HP Wash Guide *Intro* Empty HP Wash Guide(Part Three)*2nd & 3rd Job*

Post  vVJingJingVv Thu May 29, 2008 1:41 am

4) Second Job advancement
5) 3rd job advancement

4.1) 2nd job: Spearsman
I shall suggest a most commonly adapted spearman build in CMS – the hybrid spearman. This means mastering both pole arm and spear mastery. This is because from level 30 to 70 pole arm is better but after when u master the 3rd job skill Buster, spear deals more damage as Buster forces a stab attack. Also the 3rd job skill Dragon Fury is more effective with a pole arm. So depending on where u train u can switch weapon.

Level 30 - 1 SP into Pole Arm Mastery
Level 31 - 3 SP into Pole Arm Mastery
Level 32 - 3 SP into Pole Arm Mastery
Level 33 - 3 SP into Pole Arm Mastery
Level 34 - 3 SP into Pole Arm Mastery
Level 35 - 3 SP into Pole Arm Mastery
Level 36 - 3 SP into Pole Arm Mastery
Level 37 – 1 SP into Pole Arm Mastery, 2 SP into polearm booster
Level 38 – 3 SP into polearm booster
Pole Arm mastery is chosen 1st because there more chance of a swing motion than a stab motion, and Pole Arm deals more damage on a swing,

Level 67 – 3 SP into Spear Booster
Level 68 – 3 SP into Spear Booster
Level 69 – 3 SP into Spear Booster
Level 70 – 3 SP into Spear Booster
For the Booster of the two types of weapons, you may choose to allocate 21 SP between them as how you like, but at least 10 on Spear Booster is required. I suggest 12 on Spear Booster for the longer term.
Final SP allocation = 20 Pole Arm Mastery, 20 Spear Mastery, 5 Pole Arm Booster, 13 Spear Booster, 30 Final Attack: Pole Arm, 3 Iron Will, 30 Hyper Body.

Place to train
30 to 31 - Wild boar
31 to 70 - Grim ( Party with a priest, on powerguard and knock them. Then ask your priest to kill them. 2.5k exp for lvl 30 is godly. Pls note that 2 people party is the best as other people in party will leech away your exp. I know there is much better exp mob. But first your priest maybe cannot kill as fast and your hp might not be able to take the damage .That's y grim is a good choice as it is no mans land. 2.5k exp is with 2x exp and hs)

Level 67 – 3 SP into Threaten
Level 68 – 3 SP into Threaten
Level 69 – 3 SP into Threaten
Level 70 – 2 SP into Threaten, 1 Sp into Improving Hp Recovery

Final SP allocation = 20 Sword or Mace Mastery, 30 Final Attack: Sword or Mace, 20 Sword or Mace Booster, 30 Power Guard, 20 Threaten, 1 SP into Improving HP Recovery to make it 12.

5.1) Dragon Knight
Level 70 – 1 SP into Element Resistance
This 1 SP adds 12% resistance against fire, cold , lightining & poison. Incredibly useful at level 1. After this you should max your main attack skill from level 70 till 120, Buster (Spear). Important note, Buster (Spear) deals a much higher average damage than Buster (Pole Arm) because of the forced stab motion This is the reason why i suggest Buster (Spear).

Level 71 – 3 SP into Buster (Spear)
Level 72 – 3 SP into Buster (Spear)
Level 73 – 3 SP into Buster (Spear)
Level 74 – 3 SP into Buster (Spear)
Level 75 – 3 SP into Buster (Spear)
Level 76 – 3 SP into Buster (Spear)
Level 77 – 3 SP into Buster (Spear)
Level 78 – 3 SP into Buster (Spear)
Level 79 – 3 SP into Buster (Spear)
Level 80 – 3 SP into Buster (Spear)

Now its time to max your main multiple target attacking skill from level 70 til 120, Dragon Fury (Pole Arm). Dragon Fury (Pole Arm) deals a much higher average damage than Dragon Fury (Spear) bacause of the forced swing motion. This is the reason why i suggest Dragon Fury (Pole Arm). And by now you should be able to know why i suggest a hybird build for Spearman ^_^

Level 81 – 3 SP into Dragon Fury (Pole Arm)
Level 82 – 3 SP into Dragon Fury (Pole Arm)
Level 83 – 3 SP into Dragon Fury (Pole Arm)
Level 84 – 3 SP into Dragon Fury (Pole Arm)
Level 85 – 3 SP into Dragon Fury (Pole Arm)
Level 86 – 3 SP into Dragon Fury (Pole Arm)
Level 87 – 3 SP into Dragon Fury (Pole Arm)
Level 88 – 3 SP into Dragon Fury (Pole Arm)
Level 89 – 3 SP into Dragon Fury (Pole Arm)
Level 90 – 3 SP into Dragon Fury (Pole Arm)

Now its time to increase your basic damage by learning Dragon Blood, maxing it makes your weapon attack +12!! Anyway there is an option to max Dragon Blood 1st before maxing Dragon Buster

Level 91 – 3 SP into Dragon Blood
Level 92 – 3 SP into Dragon Blood
Level 93 – 3 SP into Dragon Blood
Level 94 – 3 SP into Dragon Blood
Level 95 – 3 SP into Dragon Blood
Level 96 – 3 SP into Dragon Blood
Level 97 – 2 SP into Dragon Blood, 1 SP into Elemental Resistance

Elemental Resistance should be learn now as at this level the mobs u faced all deals enormous mount of magic damage.

Level 98 – 3 SP into Elemental Resistance
Level 99 – 3 SP into Elemental Resistance
Level 100 – 3 SP into Elemental Resistance
Level 101 – 3 SP into Elemental Resistance
Level 102 – 3 SP into Elemental Resistance
Level 103 – 3 SP into Elemental Resistance
Level 104 – 3 SP into Sacrifice (to activate Draon Roar)
Level 105 – 3 SP into Dragon roar
Level 106 – 2 SP into Dragon roar
Level 107 – 3 SP into Dragon roar
Level 108 – 3 SP into Dragon roar
Level 109 – 3 SP into Dragon roar
Level 110 – 3 SP into Dragon roar
Level 111 – 3 SP into Dragon roar
Level 112 – 3 SP into Dragon roar
Level 113 – 3 SP into Dragon roar
Level 114 – 3 SP into Dragon roar

You are left with 18 SP before you reach level 120, distribute them into Sacrifice or Power Crush according to your liking, but at least 10 SP (or more) must be in Power Crush (for dearest Zakum and other mobs with power up skills). But i strongly beleive that Power Crush is much more useful than Sacrifice.

Level 115 – 3 SP into Power Crush
Level 116 – 3 SP into Power Crush
Level 117 – 3 SP into Power Crush
Level 118 – 3 SP into Power Crush
Level 119 – 3 SP into Power Crush
